Wherever you are coming from, Alassio is easy to reach. It is halfway between Genoa and the French border. It is around 220 km from Milan, 190 km from Turin, 320 km from Florence, 74 km from the French border and just over 100 km from Nice. Genoa and Nice are the nearest airports and the railway station is in the town centre. The choice is yours!
If you do not want to have to rely on public transport and prefer the independence of having a car, then the easiest way to reach Alassio is via the A10 motorway between Genoa and France.
Arriving from France, take the Andora motorway exit. From Milan, Genoa, or Turin, take the Albenga exit and continue along the SS1 Road following signs for Alassio and enjoying the sea views. We can’t wait to see!

Alassio is served by direct services from Milan, Genoa, Turin, and France. The station is in the town centre and many trains stop here. From the station, it is simple to get to your accommodation on foot, on public transport, or in a taxi.
If you need to take a flight to get to Alassio, then rest assured that it is still very convenient.
The closest airports at Genoa Cristoforo Colombo, just 95 km away, and Nice Côte d’Azur, 115 km away. Both are well served by the leading international airlines with direct flights from a number of Italian and European cities. From the airport, you can choose to take a taxi, a train, or hire a car. All options have their advantages, so you can choose the one which is right for you. Time to get packing!
